چکیده

A novel fabrication of polymer composite fibers using polycaprolactone (PCL), montmorillonite nanoclay (MMT-Clay), and nano-hydroxyapatite-clay (HAP MMT-Clay) is reported for bone tissue engineering applications. Using a pressurized gyration (PG) setup, (PCL) incorporated with in situ mineralized HAP MMT-Clay were investigated. the method, we able to successfully manufacture HAP-nanoclay-PCL fibers. Further, 3D scaffolds made prepared enhance growth, cell viability, proliferation. The results demonstrated that fiber are biocompatible, cells thrive differentiate on scaffolds. significant increase osteogenic differentiation, ECM formation, collagen formation was observed PCL compared behaviors intracellular ALP levels increased scaffold, indicating enhanced differentiation MSCs. This work shows promising outlook future manufacturable as

Fabrication of Porous Hydroxyapatite-Gelatin Composite Scaffolds for Bone Tissue Engineering

Background: engineering new bone tissue with cells and a synthetic extracellular matrix represents a new approach for the regeneration of mineralized tissues compared with the transplantation of bone (autografts or allografts). Methods: in this study, to mimic the mineral and organic component of natural bone, hydroxapatite (HA) and gelatin (GEL) composite scaffolds were prepared. The raw mater...

Biodegradable Polymer-bioceramic Composite Scaffolds for Bone Tissue Engineering

Critical size bone defects due to trauma or disease are very difficult to repair via the natural growth of the host bone. Therefore, these defects must be filled with a bridging material (scaffold), which should also, in combination with relevant cells and signalling molecules, promote the regeneration of new bone tissue. In this context, bone regeneration is one of the most attractive areas in...

Composite Scaffolds for Bone Tissue Engineering

Biomaterial and scaffold development underpins the advancement of tissue engineering. Traditional scaffolds based on biodegradable polymers such as poly(lactic acid) and poly(lactic acidco-glycolic acid) are weak and non-osteoconductive. For bone tissue engineering, polymer-based composite scaffolds containing bioceramics such as hydroxyapatite can be produced and used. The bioceramics can be e...
